CIK LIM FROM JAWA TIMUR

Hai selamat malam.

Cik Lim is working at NB Chinese Foodcourt. She has two children back home in Indonesia. She has been here for almost two years now. 

She is of Chinese descent and is now a Muslim.

When she first arrived, she was forced to work as a caregiver, taking care of a house full of elderly people—even though the agent had promised her a job as a restaurant helper. She was very upset. In the caregiver’s house, she was forced to remove her hijab and cook non-halal meat. Fortunately, she still had her passport with her. Eventually, she ran away from the agent and the house.

Now she's working as a restaurant helper. But serving drinks only.

When asking to meet, she says:

"bukan tak mau tapi bos aku galak, "

"takut aku di marahin,"
