CIK EINA FROM ALOR SETAR

Cik Eina, 41, from Alor Setar, asked me to guess her status. She said she’s not a divorcee, not a widow, and not someone’s wife. So I guessed she must be a bachelor—an old bachelor. When I asked about her job, she replied:

“Keja kan awak,”

which stunned me for a moment.
