CIK DEW JUST DIVORCED TO A LOCAL HUSBAND

 Hai selamat petang.  Sekarang hujan di sini.

Cik Dew, 54, now lives in BP Town. She’s originally from Padang, Sumatra, and has been working and living here for 14 years. She has two grown-up children back in her hometown. She recently divorced a local man after his first wife found out about their secret and illegal (un-consent) marriage. Her ex-husband works as a contractor.

When asked about her citizenship, she said:
‘Belum… tu hari dah minta, tapi imigresen minta surat poligami.’
(Translation: ‘Not yet… I already applied the other day, but immigration asked for a polygamy letter.’)
